ANNOUNCEMENT NO. 1 / DH.I-2021
Dear all members of the Vietnam Vascular Disease Association,
Vietnam Vascular Disease Association (VNVDA) has received Decision No. 729/QD-BNV dated June 11, 2021 from the Ministry of Home Affairs, allowing the establishment of Vietnam Vascular Disease Association.
According to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 10 of Decree No. 45/2010/ND-CP dated April 21, 2010 of the Government regulating the organization, operation and management of associations: “Within ninety days from the effective date of the decision allowing the establishment of an association, the campaign committee for establishing the association must organize an establishment congress.” However, due to the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Committee for the Establishment of the Association has asked the Ministry of Home Affairs for permission to organize the Establishment Congress - term 2021-2025, in an online format (not incorporating a Scientific Conference like other previous associations), and has chosen August 21, 2021 to hold the Congress.
The proposed program of the Congress includes contents according to the guidance of the Ministry of Home Affairs. Accordingly, the Congress is organized in an online format with 1 central meeting point (Viet Duc hospital), 25 - 30 other centralized meeting points (number of attendees according to each locality’s epidemic prevention regulations) and more than 150 individual meeting points, fully equipped with epidemic prevention equipment, in accordance with the provisions of law and with a plan to deploy epidemic prevention measures according to the direction of the Prime Minister and recommendations of the Ministry of Health.
To prepare for the Congress, all preparations are being urgently carried out. The Campaign Committee for establishing the Association is expected to hold two online preparatory meetings on August 1 (the second expanded key meeting) and August 14 (the Preparatory General Congress). Most of the official information will be posted on the Association’s website http://hoibenhmachmauvietnam.vn/, and emails from the Association (contact@hoibengmachmauvietnam.vn) will be sent to the personal mailboxes that members have registered.
The Campaign Committee for the establishment of the Vietnam Vascular Disease Association would like to inform all members and hopes to receive enthusiastic cooperation from everyone to support the organization of the Congress to be a success.
