National academic forum focused on comprehensive research, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of superficial, deep venous, and vascular malformation disorders.

Core Clinical & Technical Focus

Chronic venous insufficiency, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), endovenous thermal ablation (RFA/EVLA), cyanoacrylate glue (VenaSeal), ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy, and post-thrombotic syndrome.

Drive national advancement and clinical standardization of venous disease management in alignment with global benchmarks.

Disseminate minimally invasive venous interventions: RFA, EVLA, VenaSeal, ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy, and iliac vein stenting (May-Thurner syndrome).

Formulate nationwide clinical recommendations for chronic venous disease and VTE prevention tailored to Vietnam.

Strengthen international academic partnerships with EVF, UIP, and AVF.

Clinical Domain

Core Procedures, Diagnostics & Interventions

  • CEAP clinical classification and management of lower extremity superficial venous insufficiency.
  • Endovenous thermal ablation techniques: Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA) and Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA).
  • Non-thermal ablation: Cyanoacrylate closure (VenaSeal) and ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy (UGFS).
  • Acute DVT interventions: catheter-directed thrombolysis, pharmacomechanical thrombectomy, and IVC filter placement.
  • Iliac vein angioplasty and stenting for May-Thurner syndrome and chronic venous outflow obstruction.
  • Management of recalcitrant venous leg ulcers and medical compression therapy.
