INTRODUCTION TO THE COMMUNITY SERVICE NEWSPAGE

Dear Readers and Members,

Vietnam Vascular Disease Association is a social - professional organization, established under decision No. 729/QD-BNV, signed on June 11, 2021, with nearly 700 members - physicians working in all fields related to the diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases, from the neck - skull base to the chest - abdomen and limbs, from arteries, veins to lymphatics. The Association held its first Congress on August 21, 2021, adopting the Association’s operating and development guidelines, in which community service is considered a very important task.

Therefore, the Association’s Board of Directors decided to build this community service website, with the main goal of regularly providing and updating “common sense medicine” information about the field of Vascular Diseases to the community, helping to raise awareness and understanding of Vietnamese people about a group of complex diseases, thereby raising awareness of disease prevention, early detection and treatment for patients. Along with that activity, the Association also put on this news page a section “Online consultation”, to support people and people with vascular diseases with a specialized information channel, when they do not have or do not have the conditions to go directly to medical facilities. This content will be very suitable to join hands with the health sector to repel the Covid-19 epidemic.

The name of this News Page will change to suit the main mission at each stage, so with the establishment of the Association during this time, we use the phrase “Covid-19 Prevention and Control” as the name of the news page.

We hope that all members of the Vietnam Vascular Disease Association will join hands to contribute to the construction and development of this news site under the assignment of the Association’s Board of Directors. We hope that the News Page will bring practical and effective benefits to the community.

Sincerely thank you./.

President of the Association (signed)
