Vascular trauma is an urgent surgical emergency requiring swift diagnosis and prompt intervention to save patients’ lives and salvage functional limbs. In the context of traffic accidents, occupational injuries, and severe penetrating trauma, vascular injuries frequently coincide with complex poly-trauma (major fractures, nerve transections, blunt thoracic injuries, and abdominal organ ruptures). Effective clinical management demands seamless multidisciplinary coordination among vascular surgeons, orthopedic trauma surgeons, cardiothoracic surgeons, general surgeons, critical care intensivists, emergency physicians, interventional radiologists, and endovascular specialists.

With advancements in modern science and medical technologies, techniques for temporary hemorrhage control, revascularization via anastomosis and autologous/prosthetic bypass grafting, damage control resuscitation, and emergency endovascular embolization/REBOA have achieved substantial progress. Real-world practice necessitates continuous professional development, protocol standardization from frontline community emergency centers to tertiary specialized hospitals.

Pursuant to the Resolution of the 2nd VNVDA Congress in 2025, the Vietnam Vascular Disease Association established the Vietnam Vascular Trauma Forum (VnVTF). In accordance with the 2026 academic activity plan approved by the VNVDA Executive Committee, the Vietnam Vascular Trauma Forum cordially invites all colleagues and healthcare practitioners to attend:

2. Registration Fees & CME Certification Policy

• Conference Admission: Free of charge for all verified VNVDA and VnVTF members.
• Gala Dinner (Evening of December 05, 2026): 500,000 VND / delegate.
• Continuing Medical Education (CME) Fee: 100,000 VND / delegate
  (Complimentary for Faculty, Session Chairs, and Invited Speakers).
  CME Requirements: Full attendance in all scientific sessions and a minimum score of 80% on the post-conference assessment.
• Faculty Accommodations: Session Chairs and Speakers will be supported with 1 to 2 complimentary nights of lodging at the conference hotel.
