The Vietnam Vascular Disease Association (VNVDA) is pleased to announce the Recruitment of members for the Secretariat of the 2027 Asian Society of Vascular Surgery (ASVS) Annual Meeting which will take place in Vietnam.
1. General introduction to the ASVS Conference and Vietnam’s role
The ASVS annual scientific conference is an important forum to share knowledge, collaborate professionally and promote development in the field of vascular surgery, held on a rotating basis in member countries.
Since officially becoming a member country of ASVS in 2022, Vietnam has made positive contributions to the overall development of the Association. Vietnam Vascular Disease Association (VNVDA), the official representative of nearly 1,000 members active in the field of vascular disease nationwide, has made unremitting efforts.
At the ASVS Council meeting taking place in December 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand, Vietnam was unanimously nominated to be the host country of the 2027 ASVS Annual Conference.
The conference is expected to be held in October 2027 in Hanoi with the participation of nearly 500 medical experts from around the world. The role of the Secretariat for ASVS 2027 is extremely important, directly contributing to the overall success of the Conference.
2. Criteria for selecting members of the Secretariat
VNVDA invites enthusiastic members to register to participate in the ASVS 2027 Conference Secretariat with the following criteria:
- Good English level: Able to communicate and work with foreigners.
- Volunteer spirit: Love and voluntarily participate in non-profit activities of the Association.
- Basic knowledge: Have basic knowledge in the fields of vascular diseases.
This is a valuable opportunity for VNVDA members to participate in the organization of a major international scientific event, learn from experience and expand professional relationships.
