General information

  • Decision No. 07/2026/QD-HBMMVN issued on January 29, 2026 by the Chairman of the Vietnam Vascular Disease Association.
  • Officially established the Vietnam Vascular Access Forum - VnVAF branch under the Vietnam Vascular Disease Association.
  • Legal basis based on Decree 126/2024/ND-CP, Association Charter and Operation Directions for the 2025-2029 term.
  • The number of members registered on time as of January 28, 2026 is 75 members.

Organization and Personnel

  • Interim Executive Board: Appoint 06 members to be responsible for initial management.
  • Membership structure: Total 75 people, of which men account for 92% (69 people).
  • Regional distribution: The North has 24 people (32%), the Central region has 8 people (11%) and the South has 43 people (57%).
  • Management level: There are 26 members (35%) currently holding management positions at the Faculty level.
  • Core leadership: Including doctors and experts from major hospitals such as Cho Ray, Bach Mai, Viet Duc Huu Nghi, Tam Anh, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy and Military Medicine 103.

Duties of the Executive Board

  • Organize in-depth scientific activities and activities in the field of Vascular Access.
  • Unified financial management through the account of the Vietnam Vascular Disease Association.
  • Organize the first conference in 2026 to elect the official Leadership Board.
  • Develop specific operating regulations for the Association.
  • Perform an advisory role for the Association’s leaders and continue to develop and expand the membership network.

Operating mode

  • National scientific conference: Expected to be held annually or every 2 years.
  • Congress term: Scheduled to be held every 2 years to perfect the organization and direction.
  • Effectiveness: The decision takes effect from the date of signing (January 29, 2026).
