On May 26, 2023, the Vietnam Vascular Disease Society received an Official Letter agreeing on the Association’s policy to join the Asian Society of Vascular Surgery (ASVS). Pursuant to official dispatch No. 7680-CV/BDdNTwWW dated May 26, 2023.
On October 21-23, 2022, the Vietnam Vascular Disease Association (VNVDA) sent a delegation to attend the 2022 Conference of the Asian Society for Vascular Surgery (ASVS) taking place in Taiwan, including the President of the Association, the General Secretary of the Association, and the Secretary of the Association’s External Affairs Committee. The delegation successfully negotiated with the Association’s Council on making Vietnam the Association’s 16th member country.
After 01 period of completing reporting procedures and asking for opinions from relevant competent units: Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health, Department of Foreign Affairs - Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Central Foreign Affairs Committee.
