In order to create an environment to share and learn knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating vascular diseases - a large and specialized field that has received little attention, the Vietnam Vascular Disease Association organized the second National Scientific Conference.
The conference with the theme: “Vascular diseases - the destination of specialties” took place from June 2-4 in a combined live and online format.
Through this conference, the Vietnam Vascular Disease Association wishes to establish and develop a forum to share experiences and update new knowledge through scientific reports, discussions, continuous training programs,…
The conference had the participation of reports from specialist physicians nationwide and lectures (online) from leading experts in the world in the field of vascular diseases, along with colleagues from medical facilities nationwide in the practice of diagnosing and treating vascular diseases in internal medicine, surgery, diagnostic imaging, intervention, and traditional medicine.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Uoc - Director of the Center for Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, Viet Duc Hospital, Chairman of the Vietnam Vascular Disease Association spoke at the conference.

The special highlight of this year’s Conference is that it was held with 149 scientific reports and lectures (20 in English, 5 in French, 124 in Vietnamese), 11 poster reports; 04 pre-conference sessions on basic knowledge, 21 scientific workshop sessions, 3 satellite workshop sessions; 05 sessions to share and exchange scientific research with international experts.
Vietnam Vascular Disease Association was established under Decision No. 729/QD/BNV dated June 11, 2021 of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
