World Congress of International Union of Angiology – Porto, Portugal 2024

Dear Fellow members of the South Asia Chapter of International Union of Angiology.
Subject: Invitation to participate in the World Congress of International Union of Angiology, 2024.
As Vice President of the International Union of Angiology, and Co-ordinator of the South Asia
Chapter, it gives me great pleasure to invite you to participate as a Delegate or Faculty, at the World
Congress of the IUA, which will be held from the 13 th to 15 th June, 2024, at the lovely city of Porto in
Portugal. This International Congress will cover all aspects of Angiology and Lymphology, including
basic and advanced discussion of arterial and venous pathologies.
The World Congress IUA Scientific Committee has granted two one-hour sessions to the South Asia
Chapter as part of the Official Program. One session of one hour duration will be devoted to topics
covering Arterial pathologies, and the second session of one hour duration will cover topics
pertaining to Venous Diseases. Each session will have 6 speakers.
Please send me names of at least one member from your country who will attend in person and
participate in each session, with the relevant topic of presentation.
Member countries of the South Asia Chapter of the IUA are requested to encourage their society
members to send their abstracts for presentation to the IUA at the earliest for consideration for Oral
Presentation. All abstracts submitted to the Congress will be accepted, and those not selected for
Oral presentation will be exhibited as E Posters. Therefore, all those who submit their abstracts
will be Faculty members of the World Congress. This is a rare and unique opportunity for everyone
to participate in an International Congress as a contributor. Faculty members are eligible to access
travel and registration grants from local medical and pharma industry.
The World Congress has granted a discount of 20% to our member countries of the South Asia
Chapter for Registration for the conference. Discounted registration up to 31 st March 2024 is 280
Euros only. This is a very reasonable amount, and I am sure many of our members will participate in

Travel guidelines: Portugal is a lovely country, and the month of June is excellent for sightseeing.
